Dear friends,
Good morning!
Firstof all, sincere thanks to all the organizations and individuals involved herefor their tremendous support and joint efforts, especially to State Administration of Press, Publication, Film and Television of ThePeople’s Republic of China and Gansu Provincial People’s Government, andPublicity Department of Gansu Provincial Party Committee, Bureau of Press,Publication, Film and Television of Gansu Province and Jiayuguan MunicipalPeople’s Government for their work in organizing, preparing and liaisoning the 5
th China(Jiayuguan) International Shot Film Festival. Today marks the opening ceremonyof the festival and the premiere as the subproject of Silk Road (Dunhuang)International Culture Expo.
During the past four years, the International Shot Film Festival, afterearning widespread acceptance from all social sectors at home and aboard, hasbecome an important platform for driving China shot film development. This FilmFestival will continue to embrace the historic spirit of Silk Road ——- “mutuallearning and mutual benefit”, to carry out our cooperation and cross-borderdevelopment among film industries in order to jointly promote the developmentof the Shot Film Industry to reach a new high!

尊敬的各位领导、各位来宾，同志们、朋友们：
大家好！
在社会各界的大力支持和各方共同努力下，由国家新闻出版广电总局和甘肃省人民政府主办，甘肃省委宣传部、甘肃省新闻出版广电局、甘肃省嘉峪关市人民政府承办的第五届中国嘉峪关国际短片电影展，今天即将拉开帷幕，这是短片展作为敦煌文博会子项目的首次全新亮相。
经四载寒暑，国际短片电影展获得了国内外业界人士的广泛认可，成为推动中国短片电影发展的一个重要平台，本届展会将继续传承发扬丝绸之路互学互鉴、互利共赢的历史精神，着力促进国内外短片电影业界的携手合作、跨越发展，共同推动短片电影事业迈向新的高峰！
下面，我向大家介绍一下出席今天开幕式的各位领导和来宾：
国家新闻出版广电总局党组成员、副局长童刚；
中国艺术研究院院长连辑；
甘肃省委常委、宣传部部长梁言顺（待定）
甘肃省政府副省长夏红民；
甘肃省政协副主席栗震亚；
